IEEE is pleased to announce a new open access read and publish agreement with the University of Iowa.
With this new agreement, corresponding authors from the University of Iowa are now able to publish open access articles in all IEEE journals and take advantage of reading access to over five million documents from the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, including scientific journals, conference proceedings, and IEEE standards. The agreement makes it more convenient for
authors to publish open access articles in over 200 leading IEEE journals and magazines, making them instantly available and free to read by the public. IEEE journal topics range from electrical engineering, aerospace systems, computer science, and telecommunications to biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, consumer electronics, and much more.
IEEE has continued to expand its open access program and now publishes more than 160 hybrid journals, which publish both open access and subscription-based content, and nearly 30 fully open access titles in fields such as computing, telecommunications, biomedical engineering, nanotechnology and many other related fields. In addition, there are now more
than 300 institutions who have open access agreements with IEEE. To learn more about the
IEEE open access options for authors and institutions, please visit open.ieee.org.
