Northumbria University

Northumbria University creates and applies knowledge for the benefit of individuals, communities and the economy, and recognises the value open access can bring to this mission. The University supports an optimal balance of green and gold open access, in order to ensure maximum impact of Northumbria’s research, and compliance with funder and funding council policies. In addition to digital deposit of full text in the University’s institutional repository, Northumbria Research Link, an institutional open access fund is available for the payment of article processing charges (APCs) in selected articles, subject to academic selection within Faculties.

Northumbria University Library has pre-paid a limited number of APCs in IEEE publications. Please contact the Scholarly Publications team at to find out more.
