Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, also known as Amrita University, is a prominent multi-campus, multi-disciplinary, research-intensive private deemed university in India. Established in 2003 by Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma), the university is managed by the Mata Amritanandamayi Math. It has grown to encompass nine campuses across five Indian states, including locations in Coimbatore, Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Mysuru, Amaravati, Faridabad, and Nagercoil .
