CEFET-RJ

Located in Rio de Janeiro, the city that was the capital of the Republic until 1960, the institution now called Cefet/RJ had this vocation defined since 1917, when the Wenceslau Braz Normal School of Arts and Crafts was created by the municipality of the then Federal District, and was given the responsibility of training teachers, masters, and foremen for vocational education. Having passed, in 1919, to the jurisdiction of the federal government and with the restructuring, in 1937, of the structure of the then Ministry of Education, this Normal School was transformed into a lyceum intended for vocational education of all branches and levels, as happened to the aforementioned Schools of Apprentice Artisans, which were maintained by the Union.

About IEEE Institutional OA Agreements

Your institution has an OA publishing agreement with IEEE that makes it easier and more convenient for authors to publish open access. This type of agreement often includes a number of pre-paid article processing charges (APCs) to allow researchers to publish open access in eligible titles. Some institutional agreements have internal processes approving the use of APCs or limitations on the number of APCs available or the type of journals they can be used in. Please speak to your University Librarian or Open Access Administrator for more details and to check availability. Additional information can be found above regarding your institution’s OA agreement.
