At DMU, we have an ambitious Research Strategy which aims to make
research central to our mission as a university. As a university committed to the public good, we have a track record of research that impacts society and makes a real difference to people’s lives through improvements to
health and well-being, infrastructure, creativity, economic growth,
business and civil society.
To support our research we have signed up with IEEE for Open Access
Unlimited. The agreement means we are able to fund APCs for a number of
articles in fully open access titles. Our agreement does not cover articles
in hybrid journal titles.
For more information about which titles our agreement covers or any other
queries please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
To make the CC BY license available as quickly as possible under the Route 2 option, IEEE has implemented a manual fulfillment process for researchers with UKRI funding or from funders with similar mandates. To begin the process, authors who need a CC BY license for an accepted manuscript should send a request to IEEE’s Intellectual Property Rights group at email@example.com as soon as they submit their article. To further meet the Route 2 requirements and ensure compliance, the submissions should include the following text in the funding acknowledgement section of the manuscript and any cover note accompanying the submission:
For the purpose of open access, the author(s) has applied a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license to any Accepted Manuscript version arising
