With over 50 years of experience, the National Telecommunications Institute (Inatel) is a center of excellence in teaching and research that has increasingly established itself, in Brazil and abroad, as a provider of great professionals for Engineering. We were the first educational institution in the country to offer a higher education course in Engineering with a focus on telecommunications. We are an educational institution maintained by the National Telecommunications Institute Foundation, a private non-profit organization. We offer undergraduate engineering courses, lato and stricto sensu postgraduate courses in the areas of technology, Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Telecommunications, and technology courses in the distance learning format. In addition to education projects, we transfer technology to the market, working in software and hardware development, in-person and distance continuing education, consulting, equipment calibration and testing with national and multinational partner companies, in addition to having strong relationships with companies in the Santa Rita do Sapucaí Technology Center, Minas Gerais.
The Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações (INATEL), through the national contract between CAPES and IEEE has an unlimited open access agreement with IEEE that enables researchers to publish articles as open access without open access fees in all IEEE fully and hybrid open access journals. The agreement applies to all original research articles accepted for publication between 5 November 2024 – 30 October 2027. To benefit from this agreement, the corresponding author has to be affiliated with Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações (INATEL). Please use the correct institution name and your institutional email address during submission. It is recommended for authors to select the CC BY 4.0 license. The open access funding request will be approved by an OA administrator at CAPES. Overlength page charges or color fees are not covered by the agreement and will be charged to authors.
