Jiangnan University, is a national key “211 Project” university and is selected into “First-Class Discipline Project”, falling under the Ministry of Education. In the fourth round of National Discipline Assessment by the Ministry of Education, our Food Science and Technology and Light Industry Technology and Engineering was assessed at an ‘A+’ level and Design at an ‘A-’ level. According to ESI , Jiangnan University ranks No.55 in China and our 6 disciplines (agricultural science, engineering, chemistry, biology and biochemistry, material science and clinical medicine) fall within the top 1% globally and agricultural science is in 0.4‰. Jiangnan University is placed 53 nationwide and is in the 740th position globally by the US News rankings.

IEEE and DRAA, the Digital Resource Acquisition Alliance of Chinese Academic Libraries, have entered into an open access read and publish agreement. This agreement makes it more convenient for corresponding authors to publish open access articles with IEEE’s industry leading journals and magazines as eligible authors pay reduced article processing charges (APCs) and may have the opportunity to pay no APCs as some of these costs are waived under the agreement.
