Nanjing Normal University (NNORMAL University for short), located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, the capital of six Dynasties, is a national “World First-class Discipline Construction University” co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province. It is one of the first batch of national “Project 211” key universities and one of jiangsu High-level University construction universities. Included in the national “111 project” program, outstanding teachers, excellent legal talent education program, university of national construction high level professional graduate programs, the Chinese government scholarship students receiving institutions in China, the national college students’ cultural quality education base, the Ministry of Education demonstration base of coming to China to study abroad, is one of the birthplace of China’s higher normal education.

At present, the university has three campuses: Xianlin campus, Suiyuan Campus and Zijin Campus. Suiyuan Campus is known as “the most beautiful campus in the East”. Covering an area of 2179633 square meters, the total construction area of the school is 932076.19 square meters; There are 28 secondary colleges; There are 3247 staff members and 2095 full-time teachers; The university has 18,369 undergraduate students and 12,564 postgraduate students. There are 6 national key disciplines and 3 national key (cultivation) disciplines. 6 disciplines are rated as A in the fourth round of national Discipline evaluation, and 8 disciplines rank among the top 1% of ESI in the world.

IEEE and DRAA, the Digital Resource Acquisition Alliance of Chinese Academic Libraries, have entered into an open access read and publish agreement. This agreement makes it more convenient for corresponding authors to publish open access articles with IEEE’s industry leading journals and magazines as eligible authors pay reduced article processing charges (APCs) and may have the opportunity to pay no APCs as some of these costs are waived under the agreement.
