Inner Mongolia University of Technology (IMUT), situated in Hohhot, the capital city of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (IMAR) which is anorthern border area of China, is a multi-disciplinary university with a teachingfocus not only on engineering, but on natural science, liberal arts, economics, management, education and art as well. It was founded as Inner Mongolia Instituteof Technology in 1951, and renamed Inner Mongolia University of Technology(IMUT) in 1993. The University focuses on undergraduate education, withpostgraduate programs being an important part and is eligible to conferdoctoral degrees.

IEEE and DRAA, the Digital Resource Acquisition Alliance of Chinese Academic Libraries, have entered into an open access read and publish agreement. This agreement makes it more convenient for corresponding authors to publish open access articles with IEEE’s industry leading journals and magazines as eligible authors pay reduced article processing charges (APCs) and may have the opportunity to pay no APCs as some of these costs are waived under the agreement.
