Constanta Maritime University is a preeminent higher education institution in the maritime field, accredited by the Romanian Quality Assurance Agency with the highest awarding degree: most prominent level of confidence for quality assurance. It offers 11 Bachelor’s study programs, 16 Master’s study programs and Doctoral studies in mechanical engineering. All majors have been especially designed as to fully comply with the international regulations regarding Maritime Education in Training and to give the students and graduates a resourceful and successful start in their chosen careers.

The Constanta Maritime University, through the national contract between Anelis Plus Consortium and IEEE has an open access agreement with IEEE that enables researchers to publish articles as open access without open access fees in all IEEE Gold and Hybrid open access journals. The agreement applies to all original research articles accepted for publication between 15 March 2024 and 31 December 2024, while APCs last. To benefit from this agreement, the corresponding author has to be affiliated with Constanta Maritime University. Please use the correct institution name and your institutional email address during submission. It is recommended for authors to select the CC BY 4.0 license. The open access funding request will be approved by the OA administrator designated by Anelis Plus. Overlength page charges or color fees are not covered by the agreement and will be charged to authors.
