EPFL is Europe’s most cosmopolitan technical university. It welcomes more than 11’000 students, 5’000 researchers and collaborators of more than 120 nationalities. The Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries (CSAL) has an agreement with IEEE that enables researchers to publish articles without open access fees (APCs) in all IEEE fully Open Access journals, hybrid journals are not included. The agreement applies to all articles accepted for publication between 1.1.2022 and 31.12.2024. To benefit from this agreement, the corresponding author has to be affiliated with one of the participating institutions. Overlength page charges or color fees are not covered by the agreement and will be charged to authors.
