The “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi is among the oldest and well known institutions from the country, having an important tradition in engineering, scientific and cultural education, with a distinguishable presence on the international level. The university trains engineers with high qualifications, able to respond quickly and efficiently to the requirements of innovation, research and economic development. Moreover, the university caries on programs designed to continuously upgrade the engineers` professional skills imposed by the tendencies appeared at a global level.

The Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, through the national contract between Anelis Plus Consortium and IEEE has an open access agreement with IEEE that enables researchers to publish articles as open access without open access fees in all IEEE Gold and Hybrid open access journals. The agreement applies to all original research articles accepted for publication between 15 March 2024 and 31 December 2024, while APCs last. To benefit from this agreement, the corresponding author has to be affiliated with Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi. The open access funding request will be approved by the OA administrator designated by Anelis Plus. Overlength page charges or color fees are not covered by the agreement and will be charged to authors.
