The Air Force Academy is a Higher Education military institute directly subordinated to the Air Force Staff. The Academy’s mission is to train the necessary officers for the Air Force, who will obtain a diploma in “Military Sciences, Intelligence and Public Order” and are specialized in “Organizational Management”, “Aviation Management”, “Air Traffic Management”, “Management of Anti-Aircraft Missiles and Artillery”, “Management of Air Surveillance Defense Systems”; these officers have attended regular full-time training courses in one of the following specialties: flying personnel, non-flying personnel, meteorology, artillery and anti-aircraft missiles and radar.

The Henri Coanda Air Force Academy Brasov, through the national contract between Anelis Plus Consortium and IEEE has an open access agreement with IEEE that enables researchers to publish articles as open access without open access fees in all IEEE Gold and Hybrid open access journals. The agreement applies to all original research articles accepted for publication between 15 March 2024 and 31 December 2024, while APCs last. To benefit from this agreement, the corresponding author has to be affiliated with Henri Coanda Air Force Academy Brasov. Please use the correct institution name and your institutional email address during submission. It is recommended for authors to select the CC BY 4.0 license. The open access funding request will be approved by the OA administrator designated by Anelis Plus. Overlength page charges or color fees are not covered by the agreement and will be charged to authors.
