KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Founded in 1827, KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm is one of Europe’s leading technical and engineering universities, as well as a key centre of intellectual talent and innovation. We are Sweden’s largest technical research and learning institution and home to students, researchers and faculty from around the world dedicated to advancing knowledge.

KTH is working with industry and society in the pursuit of sustainable solutions to some of humanity’s greatest challenges: climate change, future energy supply, urbanisation and quality of life for the rapidly-growing elderly population. Basic and applied research are performed side-by-side at KTH and interdisciplinary research is conducted in parallel with work in specific fields. KTH will continue to focus on research and education for a brighter, more sustainable tomorrow. We will continuously assess the impact of our efforts in society and contribute with the intellectual resources of our students and researchers to create new approaches to some of the most critical challenges of our times.

The KTH Library covers the article processing charge (APC) of papers published by its researchers in IEEE’s open access and hybrid journals.

Further information about open access publishing can be found on the KTH Library webpage: https://www.kth.se/en/biblioteket/publicera-analysera/vagledning-for-publicering/om-open-access-1.860082.

About IEEE Institutional OA Agreements

Your institution has an OA publishing agreement with IEEE that makes it easier and more convenient for authors to publish open access. This type of agreement often includes a number of pre-paid article processing charges (APCs) to allow researchers to publish open access in eligible titles. Some institutional agreements have internal processes approving the use of APCs or limitations on the number of APCs available or the type of journals they can be used in. Please speak to your University Librarian or Open Access Administrator for more details and to check availability. Additional information can be found above regarding your institution’s OA agreement.
