NRI in Microtechnologies – IMT Bucharest

The National Institute for R&D in Microtechnologies (IMT Bucharest) is active in micro-nano-bio technologies, in cooperation with national and international partners. The main areas of applications are in ICT, Space and Health. IMT is also active in cooperation with industry, as well as in education and training. Main competences are related to development of micro-nanodevices and systems, including design, modeling and simulation (including at the atomic scale) and structuring and characterization of surfaces, materials, nanoparticles etc.

The NRI in Microtechnologies – IMT Bucharest, through the national contract between Anelis Plus Consortium and IEEE has an open access agreement with IEEE that enables researchers to publish articles as open access without open access fees in all IEEE Gold and Hybrid open access journals. The agreement applies to all original research articles accepted for publication between 15 March 2024 and 31 December 2024, while APCs last. To benefit from this agreement, the corresponding author has to be affiliated with NRI in Microtechnologies – IMT Bucharest. Please use the correct institution name and your institutional email address during submission. It is recommended for authors to select the CC BY 4.0 license. The open access funding request will be approved by the OA administrator designated by Anelis Plus. Overlength page charges or color fees are not covered by the agreement and will be charged to authors.
