Transilvania University of Brașov (UNITBV) is the largest university in the centre of Romania, oferring study programmes in 43 domains. The mission of UNITBV is the production and transfer of knowledge to the society by means of initial training at bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees, advanced scientific research, development, innovation and technological transfer. In addition, the mission of UNITBV envisages the organization of postgraduate programmes and enhancing the interaction between the University and the society through partnerships in compliance with the principles of a knowledge-based society.

The Transilvania University of Brasov, through the national contract between Anelis Plus Consortium and IEEE has an open access agreement with IEEE that enables researchers to publish articles as open access without open access fees in all IEEE Gold and Hybrid open access journals. The agreement applies to all original research articles accepted for publication between 15 March 2024 and 31 December 2024, while APCs last. To benefit from this agreement, the corresponding author has to be affiliated with Transilvania University of Brasov. Please use the correct institution name and your institutional email address during submission. It is recommended for authors to select the CC BY 4.0 license. The open access funding request will be approved by the OA administrator designated by Anelis Plus. Overlength page charges or color fees are not covered by the agreement and will be charged to authors.
