Universitas Brawijaya

Universitas Brawijaya (UB) was established by the President of the Republic of Indonesia on 11 July 1961. The name Brawijaya was taken from the title of Kings of Majapahit, a large kingdom in Indonesia from the 12th to 15th centuries. Then, UB changed its status to become a state university on January 5, 1963, following a Presidential Decree issued at the beginning of the same year. Currently UB is one of the leading universities in Indonesia with more than 60,000 students, in various vocational, undergraduate, masters, doctoral, professional and medical specialist programs.

Universitas Brawijaya has an agreement with IEEE that enables UB researchers to publish article without open access fees (APC). Overlength page charges or color fees are not covered by the agreement and will be charged to authors.

About IEEE Institutional OA Agreements

Your institution has an OA publishing agreement with IEEE that makes it easier and more convenient for authors to publish open access. This type of agreement often includes a number of pre-paid article processing charges (APCs) to allow researchers to publish open access in eligible titles. Some institutional agreements have internal processes approving the use of APCs or limitations on the number of APCs available or the type of journals they can be used in. Please speak to your University Librarian or Open Access Administrator for more details and to check availability. Additional information can be found above regarding your institution’s OA agreement.
