University of Agder

UiA is an academic institution, with over 1,500 employees and 13,000 students, that provides a combination of excellent educational and research opportunities within a pleasant and open environment. UiA became a university in 2007, but our roots span over more than 190 years.

Regionally anchored in Southern Norway, which is famous for its astonishing natural surroundings, the University of Agder offers a wide range of studies across six faculties. We have two campuses, one in Kristiansand and the other in Grimstad.

About IEEE Institutional OA Agreements

Your institution has an OA publishing agreement with IEEE that makes it easier and more convenient for authors to publish open access. This type of agreement often includes a number of pre-paid article processing charges (APCs) to allow researchers to publish open access in eligible titles. Some institutional agreements have internal processes approving the use of APCs or limitations on the number of APCs available or the type of journals they can be used in.
