University of Agder

UiA is an academic institution, with over 1,500 employees and 13,000 students, that provides a combination of excellent educational and research opportunities within a pleasant and open environment. UiA became a university in 2007, but our roots span over more than 190 years.

Regionally anchored in Southern Norway, which is famous for its astonishing natural surroundings, the University of Agder offers a wide range of studies across six faculties. We have two campuses, one in Kristiansand and the other in Grimstad.

We are an open and inclusive university characterised by a strong culture of collaboration and a global outlook. Co-creation of tomorrow’s knowledge is our vision. UiA aims at further developing education and research at a high international level.
