The University of Zurich (UZH) is Switzerland’s largest university, founded in the year 1833. UZH is one of the foremost universities in the German-speaking world. Made up of seven faculties covering some 100 different subject areas, the University offers a wide variety of Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD programs. In addition, UZH’s continuing education programs offer excellent learning opportunities.

The Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries (CSAL) has an agreement with IEEE that enables researchers to publish articles without open access fees (APCs) in all IEEE fully Open Access journals, hybrid journals are not included. The agreement applies to all articles accepted for publication between 1.1.2022 and 31.12.2024. To benefit from this agreement, the corresponding author has to be affiliated with one of the participating institutions. Overlength page charges or color fees are not covered by the agreement and will be charged to authors.
